Alpha H2 Limited, a subsidiary of New Energy Opportunities Limited (NEO), is pleased to announce that independent third-party testing by leading engineering firm, SAI Consulting, has confirmed significant fuel savings from its hydrogen injection systems.
The technology is being deployed across Latin America, led by NEO’s Mexican subsidiary, GreenH2 LATAM.
The comprehensive study, conducted across multiple engine platforms and driving conditions, validated Alpha H2’s ability to deliver real-world reductions in fuel consumption and emissions.
Key Results:
- +18.7% improvement in fuel efficiency (Hyundai H100)
- +14.5% improvement in fuel efficiency (Jeep Renegade)
- Up to 10% NOx emissions reduction
These results support Alpha H2’s position as a cutting-edge, scalable fuel reduction solution for commercial fleet decarbonisation.
Alpha H2’s retrofit kits generate hydrogen onboard by converting water, blending it with traditional fuel to reduce emissions and fuel consumption—without the need for costly infrastructure or capital expenditure.
Its units reduce fuel usage & emissions by 20% and can be used for all types of engines and applications, including trucks, boats, cars, generators, utes, vans and heavy machinery.
The announcement follows strong momentum in Latin America and Europe, where Alpha H2 is deploying systems through a joint venture with NEO’s global branches, Europe and LATAM.
Current 50,000+ vehicle deployment pipeline:
- Ongoing pilots with major transport & logistics operators, representing 12,400 vehicles
- Planned trials with Latin America’s largest beverage bottlers, including one with 30,000+ vehicles across 11 countries
- Pilot project in Greece with potential for 10,000 initial unit sales
NEO, through Alpha H2 and its regional subsidiaries, is now expanding hydrogen injection deployments across Latin America, Europe, and Africa, with a focus on cost-effective, zero-infrastructure fuel savings for existing fleets.
Will Davidson, CEO of NEO, said:
“The SAI Consulting results independently validate what fleet trials have already demonstrated—Alpha H2’s technology delivers measurable fuel savings, emissions reductions, and is ready for large-scale deployment. The technology provides a right now solution to the carbon and fuel costs challenges.”
Héctor Sánchez Baena, CEO of GreenH2 LATAM, added:
“These results confirm the strong performance we’ve seen firsthand across Latin America. Alpha H2’s technology offers a practical, affordable path to reducing emissions and fuel costs—without the delays or complexity of infrastructure rollouts. It’s a scalable solution that meets the immediate needs of fleet operators across the region.”
